I was pleased to join Nimesh and Angela to mark the reopening of Spennymoor Post Office in its new home on the High Street.
The post office is now fully operational from the former Lloyds Bank building, providing residents, businesses and community groups with access to vital services right in the heart of Spennymoor.
I was pleased to work with Nimesh and Angela throughout the relocation, including helping secure additional funding to make the move possible and ensure the town did not lose this important local service.
The new premises provide a central and accessible location for customers, while also bringing a prominent building on the High Street back into use.
It is fantastic to see the doors now open and the post office fully operational. This is a great outcome for Spennymoor and helps secure an important community asset for years to come.
